E L James, the author of The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, held a Twitter chat today titled, #AskELJames, where she was ridiculed and asked a number of questions, most of them that may just have sent her into hiding. Most of the questions were about how it feels to be an awful writer and someone who encourages abusive relationships. We are talking major backlash for E L James. The hashtag #AskELJames is still trending hours later. While the #AskELJames hashtag is trending – and there are millions of tweets that are negative, E L James seemed oblivious to the negativity. When asked by someone what she thought of all the craziness, E L responded by saying, “what craziness?”
